Snakes, Snakes, Snakes!!!

Today we stayed home and did a few things I've been trying to do for a few days. I got some of our closets cleaned out and put up our Halloween/Fall decorations. Later this afternoon my mom came out to have dinner with us and help my sister and I with a project. On her way in she ran over a little rattlesnake on our road right before you get to our gate in front of our house. It was still alive after she ran over it so we finished it off with daddy's machete (or sword as Jacob calls it!). Then tonight when everyone left I was watching them go down the road...then I saw one of them backing up, going forward a little and then back again. I couldn't believe it....ANOTHER ONE! I guess the kids won't be going outside anytime soon! And the funny thing is they were in almost exactly the same spot!?! Well, enough about the snakes....I know Maggie is having a heart attack right now!!!! The pics today are of the boys playing this morning.
